Policy, Data Analysis and Regulatory Innovation Division

Responsible for the promotion of innovation in the securities market, development of policy and implementation and monitoring of ECSRC Regulatory Sandbox.  The Division is responsible for leading the Commission’s efforts to promote market development through the modernization of regulation by:

• Conducting research and providing policy advice on securities regulatory issues;
• Proposing, testing and recommending policies to reduce regulatory barriers and response times of the Commission
• Improving the Commission's data collection and analysis processes and procedures and research function
• Identifying and researching challenges in the capital markets and engaging with external participants on potential solutions to increase transparency and foster capital formation
• Preparing papers for conferences and meetings;
• Proactively engaging with market participants on the development of products and services that will benefit investors in the ECSM
• Leading and coordinating the activities of the Capital Markets Advisory Committee
• Managing the ECSRC Regulatory Sandbox.
